We want to thank you for choosing our camper and are super excited for your adventure!

We take the time to make sure that the Honey Bug is clean, tiny, cosy and ready to make your trip extra special. Please treat her with care and respect. We expect to get her back in the same condition you received her in so we can continue to provide the same quality of service to all our guests.

Un-Hooking Up The Camper

Here is a video of how to un-hook up the Honey Bug when you have arrived.

Where to find & how to use

Remotes:

Can be found in the grey basket, on the shelf at the end of the bed.

TV:

To turn the TV on hit the Netflix button (otherwise it opens as the static/no signal screen and can make a loud noise. Login to your Netflix, Hulu or any of the apps you may have to enjoy your favorite shows or movies! Please logout once you are done.

Keys:

Can be found above the fireplace.

Fireplace:

The fireplace only runs off electricity. It either needs the trailer to be hooked up via the provided 30 amp lead or by generator. You can control the heat & light on the front of the fireplace.

AC Unit:

Uses electricity also. It can be turned on or adjusted by the buttons on the machine above the bed.

Bee Lights:

The battery pack to turn the lights on/off is above the bed, on the shelf, left hand side. Please turn them off during the day or when they are not needed to save the batteries.

Fridge:

Is ran by electricity, so when you get to your destination, get hooked up and turn it on by the control knob inside. Please turn off, empty and clean before traveling. There is a bungee around the sides of the fridge should you wish to travel with it full. The door is not very strong and food will come flying out. Please fasten when traveling.

Toilet:

#1 push the lever to open #2 push the lever all the way and hold for a full flush with water.

The toilet paper provided is trailer and RV friendly. Please DO NOT flush regular toilet paper or anything else down as It will clog and get stuck in the lines of the trailer.

Dining Area to Bed:

The table is not secured, so please fold & lay it down when traveling.

To change the dining area to a bed, simply fold down the table legs, and lay the table top down on the black shelves in the gap between the benches. Then take the cushions from the seats and lay them over the top.

(the table leg brackets are flimsy so just guide them into place carefully)

Electrical Hookup:

In the outer storage compartment on the front right side of the trailer, you will find the 30 amp black plug in lead. The yellow end should be plugged into the trailer. You will find the trailer electrical hook up on the left side of the trailer towards the back end.

Water Hook Up / Tanks

The two water fill up points are labeled.

City Water - Is where you would hook up a hose (i.e.. On a campsite)

Fresh Water - Is where you would fill up your water tanks

We have a blue water filter in the outer storage compartment.

(See image attached of how to hook it up to your trailer / hose.)

The Camper Control Panel:

Can be found on the left hand side as you walk in the door. This will control the water pump and the awning outside as well as tell you how full the tanks are.

The light / sensors on the black tank often glitch and have trouble and can say its 3/4 full when its in fact empty. We are trying to get this fixed. Please know if you just picked up the camper it is clean and empty.

Water Pump

Turn on the water pump when you wish to pump water from the tank to the tap or shower. You will not need the water pump if you are hooked up to a hose/water source.

Please TURN OFF the water pump when it is not in use or the motor will burn out.

Water Heater

If you would like warm water simply make sure the propane tank on the front end of the camper is tunred on. Turn on the water heater switch on the control panel and give it 20-30 minutes for it to warm up.  Turn off when not using.

Awning

Simply press the arrow to push the awning out. Please brush off or wipe down any debris or water before folding back in.

The Waist Tanks

Empty the BLACK tank completely first, then empty the grey.

*see 'returning the trailer' section for additional instructions.

Rear Stabilizers

Are only to be used to level the camper, not raise it. They are easily damaged if you attempt to raise the trailer with them. Put them down using the drill in the outer storage compartment.

Outer Storage Compartment (aka. Garage)

You will find the electrical cord, water hose, stabilizer drill/ tool, bucket, broom and all extras.

The knob to close does not hold great so we spin the actual lock side around to secure.

Pets:

We are huge animal lovers and have pets of our own that we adore so we understand wanting to take your fury friends with you on your adventures! Please understand that any scratches, damages or stains will be taken out of your security deposit to pay for repair or replacement. We ask that dogs stay off the queen bed. We want to keep our camper as nice as we can for all our guests. Stains to either linens or mattress will result in deductions from your security deposit to clean for our next renters.

The dining room seating area folds down and makes for a great dog bed. Please put the pillows face down and cover with a blanket to protect them. Dog water bowl can also be found under the table seats.
